I truly believe that not enough sleep has an effect on your performance in school and of course it is a poor one. I can remember days that I did not sleep well the night before and you just can't focus and you aren't able to understand what your teacher is trying to tell you. Eventually if you do not get enough sleep at night, it will start effecting your grades.
Sleep is definately one of the highest ranked things on my list of importance, but it could be higher. I try and get a decent amount of sleep, but I think I don't sleep all the way through the night. I usually wake up at night and I also toss and turn so sometimes I am still tired when I wake up in the morning.
